Yip today is the last day at work .. Don’t have much to do today ..
So why not write my last blog for the year .. because after today im on leave Ya Baby

Yip for me the year has almost come to a close,
But never the less it was a interesting one.
This one had a lot of ‘surprises’ some that will change my future forever,
But I will be looking forward to it, Next year is going to be great.

This year entailed me move out on my own, lol
This was a kinda big step ..
You realize all the goodies you need
Bought my first Fridge, Microwave, Toaster, Kettle, Snack witch, toaster …
And yip the list goes on

Had builder in my yard driving me crazy .. and they still not done :-( and there is still so much more that needs to be done.

Had to revive my pool ( more like Splash pool ) lol .. Now I love waking up in the morning to open my window
To see a sparkling pool .. now to have find someone look after it while I go on holiday

But forget about the pool .. who is going to look after my doggy that I adopted from my sister
She to ‘Destiny’ had me learn responsibility .. have to be home on time to feed her, I couldn’t be out all night and leave her hungry .

Lets not forget my lil Red Devil .. bought me a new car …

Then the trips to Cape town .. how I loved our monthly trip to Cape Town, The people and the city stole my heart.
Robin island will never be forgotten,

Then people I met this year … wow .. I don’t think I could have ever imagined ..

Stranger that were able to rhyme my name .. lol if only I kept all those skype msg’s
Cant remember how the rhyme goes, but you will be remembered

Katyz and Patrone will never be the same .. memories I will always hold dear,
Almost falling down the escalator and meeting “Miss Bigs” ..lol

My birthday day .. lol ya what more can I say . “say happy birthday”

I felt a love for my little niece .. a love that will never die she is so precious to me.
Cant wait to spoil her rotten,

This can really be quite stressful, do i change jobs, do i stay ..

Ain't it strange how you plan your weekend on a Friday afternoon .. The plan was due to the 'weather lady' pointing out the fact that it would be -1 in the evening and a chilly 10 degrees during the day .. It was a good idea to get a dozen new movie from the IT guys and chill at home watching them .. Need less to say .. Before you leave work you discover that dj fresh is playing at the new cafe, so why not stop for one drink .. See how the launch of this cd goes. The result was coming home early hours of the morning :-) p.s. Plans never work .. Take it as it comes.

'Then the experience' .. That you really don't wana go out on the Saturday . But you had promised your friends on the Tuesday that it would be a great idea. Now you are compelled .. And would be more than happy if a few of them had to pull out .. Like they normally do and I would be more than content chilling at home .. Need less to say .. No one pulls out and we go. The experience is that you end up having such a awesome time.

The best part of the evening,

before you leave to put the cherry on top, "you reminisce on old time" .. Sweetie pies and driving drunk ..

P.s. And yes She did inspire me to blog, she is a techno geek / social nerd :-) .. But the coolest person I know.

Casino money transformed & tracked means of technology

After spending a weekend in Sun city ..
I took note how money has become virtual,
( money transformed by the means of technology )

So this is how it works .. you pay a deposit of R20,
You get a smart card ( just a normal card with a chip)
Put the card in the machine and then put all your money in to the machine,
Now your money is loaded on to the card .. Boom your money has become virtual.

Mind trick:
So now the casino has your money on the card … now you don’t have the feel of the money,
So has you play, all the money loaded on your card, the casino makes you feel like you are not continuously putting money in the machine ..
There fore you are not constantly wasting money .. ( so all the money is stored on the card, until you cash it in )

And then even the feel on you winning money is lost .. no more coins falling into the tray .. it just gets loaded onto the card.

Now the second thing I notice over the weekend … was how that if you did win .. so let say
We loaded R200 on the card and you play and play . and by luck you won R4500,
At the end of the weekend after playing with the same card .. if you didn’t stop gambling you would have lost, the R4500 ..
Its like that card tracked your winning and it knew just how much to get back,
( giving you that feeling that you did you .. so play more because you can win again )
And you end up playing more than you won,

What a morning .. I had to wait for the lighting to stop before I had a shower .. funny I know ..
But I was not in the mood to shock in the shower.
But with the rain and then hail .. driving felt like a night mare ..
but who knew that was only the start of the nightmare,
I had to go to hospital, to go see someone ..
A quick pop in, check if they doing ok and then off to work.

Now this aint the nicest of hospitals, Enter at casualties.
Please can I see one of your patients “Sir”.. There is no such patient,
But feel free to walk into casualties and go have a look.

How can a hospital have 5 ladies in one room, other looking like they are bleeding to death.
Another rapt up like a mummy .. not sure if that one was dead ..
Now that was the nightmare .. so grungy .

I really do feel sorry for those who don’t have medical aid, and for the rest of us we should really be grateful we do.
And I know that not all government hospital are this bad, But Helen Joseph is.

Well after all of this .. we still didn’t find the patient …

But i find it strange that so many young South Africans don't have a clue as to what it is. No wonder we are a third world country. The "university" of robben island

The "university" of robben Island was a cave where the prisoners learned and studied and educated themselves. Quite an inspiration which many students take for granted who receive free education. At the lime quarry in the Cave where prisoners taught each other, recited poems and presented lectures. Due to the extreme light and dust, most prisoners suffered from "snow blindness". Nelson Mandela had to undergo surgery to restore the lachrymal ducts of his chronically inflamed eyes.

P.s Don't let the guards find you spending to much time there, so in order to get the most of your education the prisons would go to the toilet early in the morning ( as the cave was only ment for this ) and then they would fill the buckets up with sand pretending to have used the toilet in the cave. In this time they would learn how to write in the sand.

Trip to Cape Town

Well what can I say took a week off from work and went to Cape Town .. It was really awesome .. It had a few unpleasant moments .. The weather was cold and rainy (didnt really pack for this, but then again i enjoyed the shopping that took place).. Lets not forget about the wind. But it had is highlight, I went to Robin island ( this i will never forget, thank you) .. Now I understand the struggle .. And what determination was .. The fight for freedom, for us to live the life we take for granted . You can't begin to imagine what the political prisoners and normal prisoner had to go through, it was a warm sunny day on the island and yet the concret floors were ice cold. One of the ex prisoners explained that before they had windows there were just open bars, can you imagine the ice cold atlantic wind blowing into the cells. Here Mandela spent 27 years of his life in a tiny cell of 5 square metres. I have a whole new outlook on our country, and the fight for our freedom .
O'yes and then the big day, my friends engagement, that was really awesome. I have never seen someone so nervours, all he could do was smile .. showing off those pearly white. Now lets take into consideration .. He is younger than me .. That really made me see that I should stop acting like a grown up child .. And sort my life out.

You sleepy, not in the mood for anything, work is just boring. You put your head on the desk and you start dreaming .. What is that .. is not like i slept late last night .. and now i need to still go home and pack for Cape Town.
... and them, you realize that you leaving after work tomorrow and you don't thing you a enough bag space. So lets think you there for 7 days .. that 7 outfits for the day .. and then what about the night. O yes and then your friend is having an engagement party .. so you need to dress up as well ..

So now do i pack warm or cool cloths, how i hate packing because not matter what you pack when you 1300km away from home .. you realize you packed alto of crap.

Why do I just feel like I need to write something at home on a
saturday night and quite contempt with that, this has to be a sign of
maturity. But why do we put so much strain on our self about getting
old and growing up .. Is it because the things we once care about are
less important and the thoughts that never bothered us before are now
